about me.
1. The value of visual art in your life
Visual art for me is like a window on the world of the artist and what they are trying to express their feelings or concerns. I love to look at art and want to talk to people through my art and tell them a story. That's what good art is to me and I learned that from Rodrigo. He made some weird art and I never really understood it but he told me that art didn't need to be understood, just felt. I still don't get that but I get the idea of it and it has help me with my own art.

2. Your influences
I remember when I was little I believe around 10 is when I read for the first time Alice in Wonderland. I did it because everyone I met said “oh Alice, like Alice in wonderland”(in Spanish though).I wanted to know why there was so much fuss about the wonderful wonderland. I have never been so inspired like that day I finished reading it and I was so mind blown it was big at that age. I felt like a belong there and it was completely normal to be different. I loved the idea and the concept of it. I just to imagine meeting the author of the greatest book ever written. but of course the years pass and now is just a distant memory.
3. Experiences that have shaped you as an artist
Some experience I had is usually gone by like three weeks, but I can still bring it back with a little difficulty. For example clay, I have not been near the clay table in like two years And I'm afraid my clay skills have diminished. I made great dishes like the leaf one that Miss. T took with her on bowl day or something like that. I do learn from my mistakes and make great art after a great disappointing one like the face one I did for painting and made a better one like the eye with the rabbit. I have learn to have visions in my head when a project comes up and adapt the picture to my skills. At the beginning of this visions I struggle with agreeing on what I was doing because it was close to the vision but it was not perfect. I say my best learning come from colleges because I have only done two and one is a lot better than the other one.
